This project is a lighting collection made in collaboration with Japanese artisans from Kyoto. Inspired by Mr. Sen no Rikyū who introduced a fish basket as a flowerpot in the tea ceremony, this project emulates this decontextualizing act using Japanese objects of daily life as lampshade.
