Famous Glasses

"Famous Glasses" is the title of a series of 35 wooden tables, dedicated to famous spectacle frames. A tribute to celebs, real and imaginary. Unique pieces developed with the mosaic technique, hand painted and crafted using manual engraving and fretwork techniques. The entire series will be showcased at FUORISALONE to DIECIDECIMI Glasstylist - Piazzale Baracca 8 - Milan.

CUT uses wood, the most primitive and vital material in the history of the world, to design and develop theme-based tables, revisiting modern archetypes of hyperconsumerism and the icons of mass communication, wedding them to forge something altogether different: playful, neat, conciliating and never irriverent.
In fact, "Famous Glasses" is only one of the numerous series under development, representing part of a broader project, inspired and nourished by an innate propensity for graphics, a vein of pop-nostalgic imagination, an artisanal approach and fine manual work.
In this way, the lightheared, almost decorative esthetic narrative reveals an experience of an entire world of emotions connected with the representational arts. And the combination of sign and material produces unique works that celebrate the child on in alla of us.
