Carlo Dal Bianco: Decoration, through emotion and passion

A story that analyzes the history of decoration and the use of mosaic as decoration in art, ancient and modern architecture. Finally a sequence of images to tell the experience as an architect and designer for private clients and important design brands.

Carlo Dal Bianco, architect and designer. Since the beginning of his activity, he's been working on restoration of historical and sacred buildings.

His interest in historical architecture, both for buildings and interior details, together with his passion for collecting, led him to develop his own style, which is precisely recognizable in his works. He began a prolific career of designing private residences and stores, both in Italy and abroad, for which he managed the exterior and interior design, as well as a personal search for decoration.

Through the years, he designed several collections for important design companies, such as Rapsel, Xilo 1934, Fürstenberg Porzellanmanufaktur, Rexa Design, Londonart, Ritzenhoff, Campeggi. He works also with Bisazza. In 2001, he started working with Bisazza on the masterplan for the corporate headquarters and the Bisazza Foundation. This gives birth to a fecund cooperation aimed at creating a new corporate identity and designing new Mosaic and Cementiles collections, as well as designing the fifteen flagship stores in the main cities around the world.
