A passion for design and aesthetic research define the new ALPI collections. This year the company continues the collaboration with art director Piero Lissoni, presenting a versatile variety of new wood products during the FuoriSalone 2017.
Reflections of the company’s extensive design culture and effective ability to create exclusive wood patterns, the ALPI collections for 2017 embody innovation concentrated on products: the expressive freedom of the material is explored in its widest sense, forging beyond the boundaries of nature to create elaborate, unique and original graphics and striking new finishes alongside the reproduction of natural woods found in the environment.
The ALPI 2017 collections narrate three different approaches, balanced between impressions of nature and graphic design, in creations by Piero Lissoni, the Campana Brothers and Kengo Kuma, ranging from the replication of the colors, grain and characteristics of natural wood species, to patterns that cannot be found in nature, to respond to all the creative needs of designers.
Inside the exclusive showroom on Via Solferino, visitors can find an evocative itinerary to discover all these new expressive languages that fully reflect the unique qualities and impact of each product, through the reproduction of decorative and graphic effects and the exploration of the beauty of wood. A narrative of the philosophy of ALPI, which thanks to a fascinating production procedure, pure innovation and painstaking craftsmanship boosts the aesthetic freedom of designers in the use of a living material like wood.
