Andrea Clementi | We do not dramatize it is only a matter of ropes

It's a matter of weavings, accents, that are fundamental to enter the world of Andrea Clementi, original sculptor in the manner and in the material chosen: the rope.
Already, the very first approach to this exhibition at Cubet, helps to overcome the false problem of the sculpture which is such only if carved from stone or wood block.
The Andrea's sculpture is ambiguous for different reasons and so intriguing.
In the first place, because it contains a strong symbolic vocation, a tension toward the object size, which is reminiscent of certain precious working of Persian carpets, which coexist in the real and virtual space looking for a fusion between the second and third dimension.
Second, because it is placed on the delicate encounter between abstraction and representation, in that space of dialogue in between the representation of ideas, concepts and the evocation of figures that are inspired by the flora and fauna.
All these fascinating, mysterious and apparent contradictions, actually contribute to independent and original artist Vicenza research, adding emotional and rational elements.
All without fury, without forcing things; Andrea never looks at the clock and knows that to do the things it takes its time and he does not care, it does and then.
