ANTEPRIMA BRINGS THE ‘50s BACK TO LIFE

The boutique in Corso Como 9 celebrates retro glamour
with the printed fabric creations of Inkiostro Bianco and a
live performance by Ketty’s Vintage

Milan, April 2017. Anteprima, the maison born of the creative vision of Japanese designer Izumi Ogino, in celebration of Milan Design Week, will showcase the iconic style of the 1950s vintage themed cocktail party on Wednesday 05 April, starting at 6:30 pm, at Anteprima boutique in Corso Como 9.

The event represents a new interpretation of the “Dream of the ‘50s”, fruit of the union of the retro mood that characterizes the Anteprima Spring/Summer 2017 collection with the creativity of Inkiostro Bianco, a brand that reinterprets the concept of interior design by creating wallpapers, upholstery, fabrics and furnishings that are genuine masterpieces. A dynamic collaboration, which will continue for the period of Design Week.

For the occasion, Inkiostro Bianco will decorate the boutique’s windows with a virtuous mix of poetry and colors. An installation realized with a panel of fabric stretched over a frame reproduces a blow-up of the floral print featured in the Anteprima Spring/Summer 2017 collection. The play of light and dark and the alternation of linear and circular geometries capture the eyes while drawing attention to the Anteprima Teddy Girls, whose rebellious, non-conformist spirit combines with a sophisticated and delicate femininity.

Inside the shop, the corner dressed in custom wallpaper printed with the motif of the Anteprima Spring Summer 2017 collection creates a setting that multiplies the iconic echoes and references in the pieces on display. The Inkiostro Bianco creations for Anteprima were designed and realized by Alexander Mihov.

On 05 April, starting at 6:30 pm, the glamour of the ‘50s will be celebrated with an exclusive, retro themed cocktail party, magnified by the presence of a renowned hairstylist Ketty’s Vintage, who will do a live hair & makeup performance in authentic old-school style. The bartenders of BlueBlazer and the gastronomic glass-cooked creations of Bonverre will complete the tableaux of 1950s class and quality.
