During the design week 2016, Zona Santambrogio Design District will host:

NEXT DESIGN INNOVATION, 11:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Twenty-one interactive prototypes made by under 35 designers that explore new types of product challenging the productive future. Their prototypes ranging from wearable technology, to smart devices for the city and the new mobility. Prototypes are designed by designers from Lombard schools and universities and selected by a competition announcement Next Design Innovation, and designers selected by the ELISAVA School of Barcelona.

EVERYDAY SERVICE DESIGNER, 11:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.

For the first time at Fuorisalone, the service design system, based in Milan, is showed, through a mapping of actors and services which have adopted this approach 

EAT URBAN – DESIGN WEEK STREET FOOD FESTIVAL,  11:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.

In the charming garden of the Zona Santambrogio headquarter, it comes alive Eat Urban, an open air restaurant at the Fuorisalone. A selection of the best street food on wheels: apecars and vintage vehicles, placed among trees and paths, offering Italian and international gourmet dishes. Every day it will be possible to have breakfast, brunch, lunch, cocktail and dinner.

APERITIVO, EVENTI MUSICALI, PERFORMANCES, 06:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.

Womade.org propose every evening a different appointment and will move the attention in different areas from fashion to photographer, video art, illustration and music.

TUESDAY, APRIL 12TH 

ZONA SANTAMBROGIO OPENING PARTY.  DjSet CHRISTIAN RUSSO e DANILO BENTIVOGLIO (Hutopia Milano). "A DjSet event with CHRISTIAN RUSSO e DANILO BENTIVOGLIO (Hutopia Milano). There will be presented  Comehome , an innovative mobile app for attending private events. During the night will be revelated 6 private events in some of the most beautiful houses in Milan.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 13TH 

INAUGURAZIONE NEXT DESIGN INNOVATION. Official Introduction of the Next Design Innovation Exhibition. ROCKIT ALL STARZ NIGHT. Rockit.it, the best portal of Italian music, and Smashing Wednesday, will take turns to a DJ set underground, rock and roll and alternative. Since ’97 is the daily reference point for fans who want to discover the trends of the new Italian music. Vj Show by Novantanove. 

THURSDAY, APRIL 14TH 

WOMADE LAUNCH BLOG EVENT. Womade, trend blog of design, art, culture and fashion, presents a launching party for the blog womade.org. Art & Visual perfomance + DjSet SVPERFINE + FUTURO TROPICALE +  F1L0 (Womade Factory) + VjShow by Visual Sound Art.

FRIDAY, APRIL 15TH

CLUBMILANO IN ZONA.  ClubMilano, a well known lifestyle magazine of fashion and design, with UbSOund, italian company which produces sound systems and Best design & quality Earphone 2016. DjSet ALESSIO POMIOLI + Vj Show by Novantanove. Going to the party by UbSOund, gadgets and headphones for free.

SATURDAY, APRIL16TH 

Body Heat SHOWCASE. The italian record label of funk presentsa a live performance of Rocco Civitelli + Bass, Guitar and electronic machines. During the night there will be presented VjShow and Arts incursions.

 

SUNDAY, APRIL 17TH 

CLOSING GARDEN ZONA MARKET. At the end of the Fuorisalone, in the beautiful garden of Zona Santambrogio Design District there will be a colorful Design Market, in collaboration with Daniela Sagliaschi (Circo delle Pulci): designers & hand-makers on the Milan scene will present and sell their products.
