21 interactive prototypes of designers under 35 who are exploring new types of product and tell an unusual relationship between design and new technologies

The exhibition Next Design Innovation, 21 interactive prototypes selected by a competition promoted by Regione Lombardia and the Politecnico di Milano, will be open during the Fuorisalone 2016 Zone Santambrogio, inside of the Headquarter DOUTDESign in Via San Vittore 49.

Next Design Innovation will be on display in the large auditorium space in Via San Vittore 49, with an exhibition curated by Re.rurban Studio, from Tuesday, April 12 to Sunday 17, from 11.00 to 23.00.

Official opening: Wednesday, April 13, 2016, 18:00 – Via San Vittore 49.

Zona Santambrogio Design District for the Milan Design Week 2016, in its fourth edition, selects and promotes events, exhibitions and the best shop in the district, including Sant’ambrogio Square, Piazzale Baracca, Cadorna, De Amicis and Ticino.

Confirmed the Zona Santambrogio headquarters, DOUTDESign, in the former convent of Via San Vittore 49: in 2016 will host the Next Design Innovation exhibition, sponsored by Regione Lombardia and the Politecnico di Milano – Department of Design: 21 prototypes of young designers who challenge the productive future.

The exhibition includes 21 interactive prototypes of designers under 35 who are exploring new types of product and tell an unusual relationship between design and new technologies. The prototypes ranging from control devices of technical equipment of the house to the lamps and interactive furnishings, from wearable technology, to smart devices for the town and the new mobility. They are conceived by designers from colleges and universities in Lombardy, selected by the notice Next Design Innovation, and designers selected by the ELISAVA School of Barcelona.

Zona Santambrogio receives the support of the Municipality of Milan and is part of the Milanese circuit Fuorisalone.it, the official channel that promotes local events of Design Week from 12 to 17 April 2016.
