Tecno: Connections, Connectors & Connectivity

To combine design and technology, adding value to the work environment comfort: this has always been the aim of Tecno. The event “Connections, Connectors and Connectivity” concerns connection and connectors as the main theme. The encounter between software and hardware becomes the central element of a new way of working.

Spatial boundaries extended to a new landscape. New gestures arised from advanced products. The boundaries become fluid.

For the Fourisalone 2016, the installation designed by Migliore + Servetto Architects, within the Tecno showroom, composed by a thick spatial network of red lines, comes out to embrace the square, building an innovative connection between the two Casellis. The red elastic bands, longer than one kilometer and strained between the two specular buildings, are turned into a flow of energy which passes through them: a dynamic and continuous sign that connects the indoor and outdoor space. The square below this dense network is transformed into a sort of urban living surrounded by four high and continuous volumes, providing welcoming seating indoor and, at the same time, telling the story of the products outdoor. The full shapes of Clavis table draw the landscape of the high cabinets, in a stratification of layers, while -inside- the series of frames recreates on the tables the sequence of the assembly of the product, whilst -in a dedicated area- ​​the Clavis tabletop becomes a plan presentation for dynamic images of the new interactive system "io.T".

Tecno participates in "Le Vie del Compasso d’Oro", a project lauched by ADI with the XXI International Exhibition of the Triennale of Milan, in which “Caselli daziari” become part of a journey that will offer a direct experience of the Milanese places linked to the prestigious Compasso d’Oro.

The main theme will be the “Compasso d’Oro” winner and selected products, from the first 1954 edition until today, exhibited inside a sort of conical shaped elements, joining togheter towards the center of the square between the two Casellis and the Triumphal Arch, that becomes a place for visitors to pass by, presenting the exhibited objects.
