On the occasion of Milan Design Week (12-17 April 2016) Campomaggi hosts the event “Let the material speak – Glass sculptural elements” in its first flagship store in via della Spiga 5 in Milano, presenting artist Daniela Poletti Zino.
A limited edition of unique pieces in Murano glass bring to life an installation that interprets a modern and at the same time antique style.
Works of Daniela Poletti Zino become part of the Campomaggi space designed by architect Pier Nicola Currà, and contribute to give voice to a design project that tells of the brand’s origins and strong roots to its territory.
Each element is synonymous with research, knowledge and opportunity for each one to change perspectives and points of view.
“Let the material speak” tells of the perfect synthesis of two totally different materials, glass and leather, both malleable, persistent in time, and able to express the several shades of a long tradition.
The warmth of leather meets with the brightness and limpidity of glass, joining modernity and tradition, art and craftsmanship, idea and technique.
