EVENTO: Ventura Bar
VOTO:
The Lambrate district in Milan is the new official hub of creativity and cutting edge in the Fuorisalone. In previous years it was always Via Tortona that was built up to be the place to be. Inevitably with the big design houses moving in and the large companies displaying there wares the area has taken on a more corporate feel of trying to sell to the masses rather inspire the new wave of cutting edge design. This mantel has been passed on to Lambrate. As I walk around and discover creature like make up mirrors or people walking around with large reflective hexagonal helmets the area takes on a more experimental feel akin to artistic district. With such large amounts of creative people from around the world in one place its hard not to be inspired.
