Mazze Land / F u t u r i s t i c F o o d C u l t u r e with ANN DEYCH and DEBORAH FISCHER
8-14 April 2019
A futuristic table, a new perspective to look at food
The performance proposed by Ann Deych and Debora Fisher offers a new perspective to look at food. Throught Mazze Land / Futuristic Food Culture they will simulate a possible future scenario using an active work space for the kitchen, intimate, almost sacred, for eating and connect.
A futuristic table assembling a city, 2 lady robots with a robotic voice and video projection explain the roots behind the different Israeli dishes, between food sculptures and public involvement.
The performance will be every day at scheduled times while on Friday 12 April at h.19 there will be the KABALTH SHABBAT (like the important shabbat dinner). Sculptures with Hallah bread and typical Shabbat dishes will be made and at the end the public will be invited to eat.
