Monochrome Monologue

Korea Craft & Design Foundation (KCDF) promoted of the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism of the Republic of Korea, presents the 23 works by Korean artists on the theme “Monochrome Monologue” for the Milanese design week 2019.
The exhibitions express the Korean sentimentalism concept through a white and black tone, by means of paint and ink and lava and its countless shades of colour that find their way inside. This exhibition, curated and set by director Kuho Jung, is focused on the unification and integration of the arts through the combination of various genres, presents a symmetrical and asymmetrical spatial form in white and black as well as dimensional expression of the beauty of emptiness. The exhibition will allow to discover the inborn modernity and immediacy of Korean craftsmanship and its strong presence in the world of global art.
