Throughout history, the human body has been standardized and objectified within the fields of design and architecture. The world we inhabit and design is rarely suited to everyone. The exhibition ‘DIFFERENT BODIES’ by KADK students, aims to challenge this and open our minds to see humans as individuals with different bodily needs, shapes and sizes. A series of experiences invite us to relate to the body in a new way and to reflect upon the importance of diversity, intimacy and inclusion – leaving no one behind.
