What is lightness? Making sustainable design and culture - Officina delle Idee 1st edition

Nuovapiattaforma presents OFFICINE OF IDEAS - I EDITION.

Officina delle idee is a cultural project, conceived by Alice Montalbetti, which aims to involve young creatives - artists, designers, performers, photographers and videomakers - in the exploration of the concept of lightness in a new dimension of culture and sustainable design.
Starting from a day of reflection held on 10 March at the Dolce Luna multifunctional greenhouse, we addressed the theme of lightness in different disciplines, from politics to photography and design in all its expressions.
Present during this day are prominent professionals such as: Marco Cappato, Francesco Librizzi, Miyuki Yajima, Camilla Santi, Francesco Citro, Marco Menghi, Davide Gramatica and Francesca Minelli.

As a result, what has been created is a community of young creatives, between 20 and 30 years old, who have committed themselves to freely interpreting the theme of lightness.

The result is a series of artistic projects - and not - that will be presented at the Dolce Luna space (Via Gaetano Airaghi 131, Milan) during the Milan week of the Salone del Mobile through an exhibition curated by Cecilia Casabona in collaboration with the young creatives of Officina delle idee.
Among the projects on display will also be the Polish designer Iwona Kosicka with her SWING N1 and the artist Veronika Richterova.

The opening of this exhibition will take place on 8 April 2019 starting at 6 pm in Via Gaetano Airaghi 131, where the event will open with a performance born from the collaboration between an architect and an actress.

This will be followed by performances, workshops and workshops for young people: Officina delle idee is a project made up of young people for young people.
