CHAKRA 7.27 THE MOON CODEX

At the Spazio US49 Eventi at Via Ettore Ponti 49, 20143 Milan
Milan, 9 - 12 April 2019. 
On the occasion of 50th man's first moon landing, Universal Selecta in partnership with AF517 Atelier (s) Alfonso Femia, have made an installation to evoke this historical moment through a poetic and playful story. The moon rules man's life through its cycles influencing agriculture, tides, cycles, wines and endless other vital functions. A huge floor image, which reproduces the first footprint on the moon, welcomes guests within the Spazio US49 Eventi. 
A path marked by “Moons” that evolve in the different phases, leads through different Chakras.
The last one, in particular, interprets the main constellations in a playful and poetic way thanks to a magical starry ceiling. An astronaut inside, it who observes the celestial vault, wants to represent the dream of the Man finally realized. Wide swirls of overlapping curtains, wrap each Chakra, almost to draw the space orbits that led the spacecraft to the lunar soil. On the internal screen, movies on space missions and on the general theme run continuously, accompanied by an appropriate musical selection.
In addition, there is a large, bright and nocturnal moon made of reflective material as it appears in nature.
The event is open every day from 9 to 12 April 2019 from 18.00 to 21.00.
