Enter Porcelain

Kober Porzellan and Olivari will present "Enter Porcelain", an exhibition at Palazzo Litta. Kober is a German company known for its technical ceramics, Olivari, an Italian company leader in the production of door and window handles. Both Kober and Olivari have a history of more than 100 years. This has encouraged a meeting and a very close understanding for this joint and strategic research initiative. Kober decided to carry out research and experimentation on the use of porcelain for handles, and found in Olivari the ideal partner. Eleven designers, coming from different regions of Germany, have developed new ideas and versatile concepts to use this special material, porcelain, combined with brass, creating a unique and varied collection of handles, different in shape and size, finishes and colors. On the occasion of the 2019 Design Week, Kober and Olivari present the handle models that emerged from this collaboration, together with a significant overview of the technologies that both companies have made available.
