Ice Dream. Design Con-Gelato

Sammontana, Italy’s leading ice cream company established over seventy years ago, will for the first time present a series of furnishings designed by the well-known architect and designer Fabio Novembre, the result of an innovative 3D printing process that uses Bio plastic, recycled and recyclable plastic.

The collection of sustainable objects will be displayed in the fascinating setting of the Hotel Magna Pars, in the heart of the Tortona area, within an immersive installation curated by Novembre himself, and which will transport guests into an iconic and colourful beach environment: the Lido Sammontana.

The collection of furnishings is planned for the open air: Italian-style bars and bathing establishments, places that are associated with the vibrant and positive energy of the summer, of long-awaited holidays, of sweet ice-cream breaks that characterise the most pleasant moments of the day.

The seats, the rocking chairs and the tables, in a bright yellow colour and in a transparent version, owe their shape to the concept of a vortex, that of water or of the ice-cream cup: concentric rings that build geometries and lines, and that suggest a continuous striving towards the future, towards an idea of ​​conceiving objects that must necessarily take into account their environmental impact today and tomorrow.
