VITALE BARBERIS CANONICO AND JACOPO FOGGINI PRESENT CON TATTO
9-14 April 2019
EXHIBITION CON TATTO
The Vitale Barberis Canonico wool mill, is also known as one of the oldest wool mill in the
world, so far led by thirteen generations, can be seen together with the synthetic glass by
Jacopo Foggini in the artistic installation that intersects - on a highly sensorial journey - 350
years of fine fabrics with Jacopo Foggini’s avant-garde.
Designed by Jacopo Foggini and Hannes Peer, this four-handed project is a modern reference
to the artistic collaboration during Milan’s golden era, when artists and architects such as
Yves Klein and Lucio Fontana, Osvaldo Borsani and Arnaldo Pomodoro, Giò Ponti and Piero
Fornasetti, Piero Portaluppi and Francesco Somaini worked jointly. The reference is to the
undefeated finesse of a historical moment in the Italian architecture: an installation to walk
through in order to experiment with one's own senses a story of timeless elegance.
