Inhabits - Milano Design Village, the first edition of a unique exhibition of its kind, dedicated to the world of design and architecture and to new way of living the urban space.
The housing units will be exhibit and can be visited throughout the week; the transportable living units, Italian and International, are inspired by the concept of sustainability and are dedicated to living as smart and transportable houses and/or to be suited as special houses for emergency situations. Furthermore ther will also be some design projects dedicated to urban sustainability and renewable energy.

The event also hosts Red Bull Studio Mobile presents sound tag, the brand new recording studio on wheels: a sound laboratory where the audience participates in the creation of a soundtrack of Fuorisalone. Everyone can leave their "sonic signature" and contribute to a collective composition in which the sounds are transformed and joined, creating a multifaceted spectrum of textures, words and fragments in constant flux.
During the week, the Studio will also host sound designers and musicians that will take part in the installation with talks, workshops and performances.

An area of 700 square meters surrounded by Parco Sempione, near the Castello Sforzesco, where the public of the Milano Design Week can visits the installations, stop, recharge and entertain themselves every day with the musical events, with a daily evening program of concerts and dj Set on a stage of 80 square meters designed by N_D Creative, a studio of young Italian architects.
There will also be good food: in the large food court, visitors can enjoy the best of street food through sophisticated menus and the highest quality products; there will also be a relax area that will allow visitors to recharge themselves. 
A village within the village: Repower presents its temporary space dedicated to recharging your mind and body. In front of Locanda alla Mano, founded by Repower, Repowercharge area is composed of ten housing units dedicated to food and relax. The best way to recharge the Design Village’s guests.

In Piazza del Cannone there will also be Lancia that will present the new Lancia Ypsilon UnYca with a dedicated light installation.
