MORELATO takes inspiration from the cabinetmakers tradition to reinterpret wooden furniture pieces and transform them from simple objects to artworks.

During the Fuori Salone 2016 edition the company Morelato showcases, during the collective event at nhow Milano future is nhow, an artistic installation with a scenic impact to show the other face of design.

Made by the eclectic artist Flavio Favero, the setup surprises for its visual impact. The real protagonists of this artwork are the numerous Morelato novelties and some iconic works of the MAAM collection (Museum for the Applied Art in the Furniture Sector of the Aldo Morelato Foundation) which, through harmonic joints and juxtapositions and shadow/light games create the shape of a human face. In this way suspended or leaned furniture pieces, generate a dialogue of shapes. This is the message Morelato wants to convey: the other face of piece of furniture through essentiality and wood purity.
