If “verba volant” for sure “scripta manent”. Thoughts, sensations and ideas should be written. We make them physical, material as they can not vanish, as to fix them in a precise moment into time and space. They stay there, to look to us and to be looked aswell. Some of them evolves, some other remain, each of them exist. The mind creates, the hand does, the paper receives: cherishes. Pen, pencil, brush, scissors: many tools, one material. Cartacanta! An experimentation about matter, a study about the shape, a creation of a language. Cartacanta! Playful, ironical, critical.
FORO STUDIO will host the Cartacanta exhibition. An investigation about the paper. A versatile material interpretated by Tabularasa notepad by Alessandro Pennesi, and artworks by Anna Magni, Fabio Romenici and Uroš Mihić.
Each artist has worked on and with paper by proposing a personal interpretation of shape and function, container and contents. Each work will be connected by a red wire, which will guide the visitor through the Studio.
