In-chiostro creativo | design, architecture and city

The typical day includes a talk the morning and one in the afternoon, a meeting dedicated to designers-suppliers relationship and the 'Made in Italy excellence', thanks to the presence of established practices and young talents. One of the issues will also be the relation fo energy and the city and the communication in the design practices. Already confirmed their presence the Chinese star Ma Yangson (Mad Architects), Patricia Viel and Demogo, 2015 young Italian architectural talent.

The program provides an opportunity for meeting and networking during the lunch break, thanks to a moment conceived and structured by Laurenzi Consulting.
Under the arcades of the cloister there will be an exhibition, curated by Paola Silva Coronel, about digital decoration. After decades of total look: all wood, all white, all gray, we are seeing the return of the decorative theme, both in interior and product design. Accomplice of this phenomenon, are certainly digital technologies, which have brought several innovations. The exhibition in the Cloister wants to tell precisely this return, highlighting how today it is possible to show the same decorative theme, on a variety of materials, thanks to the many digital techniques: a great opportunity to renew the interior design, with creativity, limited investments and reduced time.

Finally, between the arches of the cloister, Ad Urbem will curate an exhibition titled "Sant'Ambrogio: Modern architecture and urban context": a map and a selection of photographs of the main buildings in the area, that will be discovered, in the days Friday 15 and Saturday, April 16, with a guided tour led by students from the Istituto Orsoline di San Carlo.
