Wall&decò Wallpaper Machine in the new showroom in via Solera Mantegazza 7

Wall&decò presents the 2016 Contemporary Wallpaper Collection in the brand new Showroom in via Solera Mantegazza 7, an area of 300 square metres where a steam-punk inspired installation is featured: a chimeric time travel creates an eccentric Wallpaper Machine that transforms the original element into wallpaper, thanks to steam technology.

Thus, the wool ball placed in an alembic and boiled is transformed in actual wallpaper - Wool wallpaper - by turning a crank handle.

Same mysterious transformation amongst bursts, lights and smokes, for the playing cards of Dare Me subject, for Profumo flowers and newspapers clippings of Collage. In addition, the visitor can grab a piece of paper that just came out from this peculiar ‘magical’ machine.

The 2016 Contempiorary Wallpaper collection:  a range of graphic wallpapers exploring the distinctive themes of Wall&decò through new shape and colour proposals. Leaves and flowers of West Coast inspiration stand out for their light shapes: the design is never full but allows unveiling the underlying texture. Pure shapes or transformed in time thus conferring an evanescent and muffled look to contours and lines, alternate 3D geometries and illusions in black and white, evocative of the Optical Art but with an extra element: the material content of the background.
