Fazzini and Hangar Design Group are set to present an unprecedented meeting at Fuorisalone 2016, between the superior craftsmanship of Italian textile tradition and the art of ceramics through the collections of Taiwanese brand ACERA.

Heritage, quality and the production know-how to continue tradition and identity strongly rooted in their home countries: these are the shared values of Acera and Fazzini, who for the week of the Fuorisalone are planning an exhibition dedicated to the art of tableware and new designer shapes for food.

The common denominator is the Hangar Design Group, who take care of Fazzini stores and Acera collections.

Alongside the highest quality textiles, there’ll be carafes, small table services and travel mugs, for on-the-road hot beverage consumption, so typically Asian.

The shapes are clean: softened cylinders, truncated cone carafes, hemispherical bowls - their geometry toned down slightly for usage purposes.

The underlying theme is the use of decorative pattern in soft textures that unfold in the colours of black and white, yellow and grey, natural shades reflected in matching fabrics.

Design and craftsmanship come together in the search for an aesthetic that coincides with a deeper wellbeing: from the positive influence of Acera ceramics enriched with white tourmaline, a mineral known to release negative ions, to the purity of Fazzini's elegant, natural fabrics, the exhibition offers a reflection on the need to combine the beautiful and the good in the finest pieces for the home.
