"Made in Portugal" strengthens presence in Milan
From 9 to 14th of April, Milan is the center of several international events focused on sectors of the home line that place the Italian city on the radar of a worldwide interest, motivating the visit of a wide audience, among buyers, designers, decorators and architects.
Portugal will be represented with about 100 companies from the various sectors that make up the House sector, in an associative cooperation action between APIMA - Portuguese Association of Furniture and Related Industries and AIPI - Association of Portuguese Lighting Manufacturers, in collaboration with AIMMP - Association of Wood and Furniture Industries of Portugal and Home From Portugal, with the support of AICEP.
In Isaloni, through APIMA, around 70 companies from the furniture sector will participate. 15Ccompanies in the lighting sector participate in Euroluce, in a joint organization of the national presence of AIPI.
The highlight will be the "Milan Design Week 2019: the Fuorisalone" in Tortona, which for the first time will receive an exhibition focused on national design, with pieces of furniture, lighting and objects of art, in a collaboration with the Polytechnic Institute of Viana Do Castelo (IPVC), whose objective is to encourage the creation of partnerships in the area of design, promoting the exchange of ideas with agents from other participating countries. Action invigorated by APIMA, with the particularity of involving all the associative agents involved in the house sector.
The participation in Fuorisalone, with this national space of design, innovation and research, will give more prominence to the presence of Portugal in this design week in Milan, with its inauguration scheduled for April 9 at 7:00 p.m.
This set of actions, coordinated by AICEP in close partnership between the associations, confirm the importance of partnerships and collaboration between the various agents to leverage the image of Portugal in a more effective way, ensuring successfully the permanence of our country in the international arena.
