Mario Prandina tells the stories of those who, working behind the scenes, played a fundamental role in the realization of the ideas and furniture that have become famous throughout the world. The protagonists of the stories will be artisans, blacksmiths, carpenters and all those professionals who are used to work in the shadows. Prandina will talk about the magical world of Brianza where ancient traditions are still handed down from fathers to sons, marble and glass artist such as masters Abele Vadacca and Martino Vertova, and ecologically innovative materials. In this occasion, it will be presented the Gilco armchair-bed prototype designed in 1952 by Gilberto Colombo. In 1950s, in his compagny GILCO, Colombo created all the frames for Ferrari, Maserati and many other famous racing car brand.
