COS x Studio Swine at Fuorisalone 2017

COS installations at the Fuorisalone have been for some years among the most eagerly awaited events of the design week.

The first COS event in Milan dates back to 2012, with a temporary store designed by Gary Card and built in a big industrial space in Via Ventura. The following year was the year of Bonsoir Paris, followed by the homage to the white shirt made by Nendo in 2014. The following years saw the dreamlike labyrinth of white ribbons designed by Snarkitecture and the forest of light designed in 2016 by Sou Fujimoto.

This year is the time of Studio Swine, a duo from London composed by the Japanese architect Azusa Murakami and the British artist Alexander Groves. A small preview can be found in the following video and in the words of its authors: "2016 was a year of change marked by a crisis affecting many fields, which is why we wanted to create an installation able to offer a moment for contemplation. Nature and the change of seasons were the main source of inspiration. For us this idea is universally beautiful. Our purpose is to create a democratic experience capable of bringing people together.

COS x Studio Swine will be open to the public from 4th to 9th April 2017 at the historical Cinema Arti in Via Pietro Mascagni no. 8.
