La mostra dell’ Atelier van Lieshout non è purtroppo nella lista degli eventi di questo sito, ma meriterebbe forse anche più di una visita per una comprensione approfondita e come occasione per riflettere sui temi fondamentali affrontati.
L’artista olandese Joep van Lieshout presenta sculture, modellini e disegni di una immaginaria città futuristica, o meglio di una distopia inquietante e provocatoria : una città abitata solo da schiavi, i cosiddetti “participants”, che lavorano secondo precise direttive dando vita ad una società estremamente efficiente ma senza libertà e in cui i tradizionali valori etici ed estetici vengono totalmente stravolti.
