Colors by Light

At Ventura Future 2019, the University of Iowa 3D Design will create a space that explores the interaction of light between form, material, and color. We will build a compartmentalized structure to display our light fixtures. Each compartment creates a different visual experience based on the objects contained within and their communication with color. Lamps are fabricated using a range of materials and processes, including CNC technologies, Rapid Prototyping and traditional craftsmanship.
