Piero Lissoni guides us to the discovery of the new Porro 2019 scenarios. A house where the walls disappear and the furnishings become architecture, surprising for the impeccable lines, and the unusual mix of functions and materials .

Among the new products there is one of the cornerstones of the brand, the tables. The new PASCAL system of tables is unveiled as a preview, a perfect synthesis between structural quality and design content. Pascal stands out for the visual lightness of the wing-section die-cast legs, seamlessly connected to the horizontal supporting structure, on which rests the top, available in various materials, creating a play of superimpositions and double thickness. Produced by the industrial soul that allows to reach unprecedented lengths in plain view, it is at the same time a sculptural piece of plastic nature, which modulates its look to adapt to the most diverse uses. Rigorous and essential for the office, elegant and seductive for the contract, but also passepartout for the home, being able to match the Iron painted metal leg with a leaden color to tops in wooden essence, back-painted glass, marble, ceramic or lava stone: Pascal is a theorem, to expound  on in all its possible variations

Simple geometric shapes combined with the richness of the materials characterize the style of Nicola Gallizia, Milanese designer with whom Porro starts collaborating for the 2019 collection. The lounge armchair LULLABY, with its unique configuration and inclination, evokes the comfort and the gesture of cradling. Its immediate and catchy name is almost onomatopoeic: The "L" recalls the shape of its wooden legs, while the “U” identifies the chair on a floor plan in addition to evoking its rocking motion. Small object of desire, with an out-of-scheme shape that catches the eye despite its small size, LULLABY reveals sophisticated details behind the apparent simplicity, such as the brass supporting foot and the covering. A particular homage by Porro and the designer to the Bauhaus and its diktat of reconciling functionalism and formal purism in an ideal fusion of artisanal artistic creation and industrial production.
