Team Balanco + Jukai + Barbara Crimella – Swinging furniture

The small green islands are inspired by the traditional Japanese concept of “Hakoniwa”, the miniature garden, here made to full size that people can enter: at the intersection of design, architecture, crafting tradition, and landscape. Prototypes by ENZO Satoru Tabata and DAIKEN Eiji Suzuki, both originally from the Japanese district of Gifu where they collaborate in the TEAM BALANCO.
