THE MEAT FACTORY bioleather

Inspired by the construction and de-construction of living subjects in the food industry, designer Shahar Livne developed a new handmade bio-leather. Using fat, bones and blood driven materials from the waste streams of slaughterhouses in the Netherlands often wasted and polluting. Highlighting the wasteful, entegled and disrespectful issues related to the treatment of animals and natural resources . Launched on Jan 19' with NAT-2, the first ever sneakers made with blood bioleather.
