Sponge

With this new project Nick Boers is trying to show his vision on what the effects of our presence could have on the planet in the long run, what it could visually mean for our ecosystem as we know it. Looking at this subject in an absurdist way results in a funny, bright and thoughtful range of sculptural objects, made from a fictional sponge material that could be growing in a sea near you.
