Contemporary Views

Milan, 34 Corelli street. On Friday 12th April, during the Salone del Mobile, the third edition of Contemporary Views opens at Subcity Art Gallery.

The exhibition is dedicated to eleven contemporary artists from Milan, Turin and Genoa. They exhibit Duilio Forte, Fabrizio ActionArt, Laura Nitti, Lucio Forte, Marco Antonacci, Melanie Galea, Nairo, piero Lo Presti, Tica Teca, Valeria Morasso and Vincenzo La Greca.

The works are set up in an ancient industrial context that dates back to the end of the 1800s.

On display are oil paintings and mixed media on wood and canvas, artistic design objects and furnishings, black and white digital prints on post-war Milan and also iron and wood sculptures.

The pictorial works are of small, medium and large dimensions both figurative and abstract. The large works are mainly made in action painting style.

On Friday April 19 th the exhibition ends with a refreshment in the presence of the artists starting at 18:00.

From 13 to 18 April the exhibition can be visited by appointment.
