In one of the best examples of requalified architecture in Milan, the Desing Week takes place by following the Sensible Desing Line. Waht does it really mean? Well, we suppose it would like to have something to do with being sensible towards the environment and trying to propose a sustainable approach to the project, but the name actually opens many more doors. Sensible actually just has refences with the interaction of the five senses. A lot of freedom, for a designer. And one of the best places ever for an exposition, and party. As always in these situations, you see a lot and get really touched by a lot less. So good to see wood sculptores actually working while you step through their pieces. So good to see how a shelter or minimal house can be interpretated by using light, easy and unusual recycled materials. And really so so so good to see that students can have their space too. That's how we had the chance to play with the colour sensible dark room proposed by IED sound designers. You enter their dark space and all you can see is a colorful stripe all around the room, while all the rest is black. The designer explanes you the project while giving you headphones and a sort of gun. Then, you just have to point and move you sound gun from yellow to green passing through every tone you like on the stripe, and in your headphones you'll hve the sound transposition of the colour you're pointing. Like painting music, or playing colors. Good to interact, good to see that somebody still believes in growing young potential.
