All highways lead to Milan

At Teatro Gerolamo the award ceremony for the first edition of the international award for design culture promoted by Abitare and Designboom, and sponsored by Milan City Council

To overcome such an important past and to look towards the future, 20 years ago the city decided to redeem through design and launched the International Biennale of Design.

This year the Milan Design Week of BASE Milano will be dedicated to Design Nomade with an exhibition project originating from an international call involving many designers, companies and universities from all over the world.

During the design week many fashion brands set up events and installations where design and fashion mix together to create new and different forms of expression

The Swiss Design Map Milano highlights the many events of Swiss design schools, firms and young designers during the Milan Design Week.
