The Serious About Food Kitchen Lab by KitchenAid was born from the desire to find out the possible interpretations of the culinary universe and the multiple facets of the place where this takes traditionally form - the kitchen precisely - taking into account the social and cultural changes of our times. The project, as well as showcasing the visions of eight international talents, offers an immersive and engaging experience, that through a clever use of video content and graphic projections carries visitors within the designed space, leading them to its discovery and understanding. Bernhardt & Vella, Castiglia Associati, Kensaku Oshiro, Marc Sadler, matali crasset, Rachel Laxer, Tor Interiors, Victor Vasilev: each of them, with different stories, origins and background, has transformed the "location kitchen” in a creative and experimental laboratory. These are the key factors of the project curated by Massimo Marzorati: a unique opportunity to discover eight interpretations of the same space in the light of the changes that affect our lives.
After this first appointment at La Triennale di Milano, the eight projects of The Serious About Food Kitchen Lab by KitchenAid, will be the protagonists of a tour that will visit Paris, during the "D Days", London during the "London Design Week" and finally Bad Salzuflen, in Germany, in occasion of the fair "MOW".
