Her house Morag Myerscough Luke Morgan Project: bags of love from herhouse.uk.com info: designerblock Her house is a gallery/shop opened 2002 in Clerknwell run by designer Morag Myerscough and situated in the kitchen and living rooms of her own home. An intimate living space gallery where new art works, designs, texiles and products from emerging artists and designers are presented as part of Myerscough’s everyday life at home, the gallery also works to develop and produce new products for sale under the her house brand. While the saying might go ‘home is where the heart is’, for Myerscough it’s also where the art is. But far from being self-absorbed, the gallery gives Myerscough and others the change to explore and develop concepts. The only drawback to her house: ‘I do cook a lot’ Myerscough says.’Only now I have to wash up after’. |
