Images and sounds are not objects, nor do they possess a shape or form.
Air, too, does not have a shape. Whilst being the closest (free) thing to the body, air exists as
an element necessary for human life.
The molecular weight of the oxygen and nitrogen that air is composed of is symbolized
by the number 28.8
The "images" and "sounds" fundamental to the structure of a space can differ with changes to the air.
Taking inspiration from the thought that "28.8" could possibly alter the weight of air...
The transforming of an "atmosphere" is where our concept lies.
It is the discovery of a desire to believe that images and sound will, in the same way as air, become elements indispensable to human existence.
In this joint exhibition with Sfera, Sony demonstrates the significance behind "sensing" and "touching", for an era dependant on images and technology.
