SEZIONE BAG BABY ART GALLERY
Accademia del Gioco Dimenticato Association dedicated to children/adolescent
BAG (Baby Art Gallery), one of the few art galleries for children in Italy, will present in the occasion of Salone del Mobile (Posti di Vista) three Souvenir Towers. Developed by Accademia del Giocco Dimenticato in collaboration with five elementary schools that have a large number of foreign students, the towers will be composed of large jars with balconies that recall the countries from which their parents and grandparents originated. The creations will be surrounded by an enchanting forest with trees inspired by Bruno Munari.
This year’s theme chosen by the Accademia for the event Posti di Vista is sustainability and integration. Children from 8 different schools (4 schools from Lombardy, 3 from the rest of Italy and one from Austria) will create a series of towers inhabited by children from 45 different nations.
Between a tower and the other communicating threads will be hung with references to life, culture andart of the different nations. (sort of what happens in Naples with the spread out clothes).
On this occasion on the premises of the Accademia some works realized for Posti di Vista 2006 / 8 / 9 will be displayed.
And, last but not least, workshops with children will give the opportunity to create little souvenir towers to take home.

The Accademia del Gioco Dimenticato is one of the labs associated with La Fabbrica del Vapore; they are a founder member of the Cultural FDVLAB Association.
