MacchinazioniTeatrali Performative Arts
An ideal reflection that sprouts from the will of giving a new home to what has become too narrow or too bulky along the course of human history.
MacchinazioniTeatrali proposal for this year’s Posti di Vista > Green Block, as in the past editions goes towards this direction, taking as inspiration an ethic, social and economic principle globally sustainable, underlining a free use of manufactured products and suggesting the research of innovative solutions starting from existing products and materials.
PAGURO is a project that focuses on adaptation and symbiosis, and that recycles the objects rejected by western bulimia and through the observation and discussion about the endless potential of their reuse creates a second life that goes beyond the original function. In this specific case, discontinued Disano lamps that have become industrial waste offer the chance to measure one’s self with several new uses, and can be an element of artistic performances.
The video installation explores the multiple possibilities given by a new use of materials, which are not simple stage objects, but bring a dramatic meaning involved in the materials themselves.
Through this theatrical path the Disano lamps are transformed into spaces yet to be explored, dresses to be worn or places to live in.

MacchinazioniTeatrali is one of the labs associated with La Fabbrica del Vapore; they are a founder member of the Cultural FDVLAB Association.
