Zambesi Sofa, a pilot project of fabrickit for kids, tells you a piece of history of the landscape where it was built. Its components - animal shaped pillows, plants and other natural elements - can be assembled according to a pattern that (re)creates the Zambesi landscape in particular at the Victoria Falls, Zambia. Each item can also be used separately or with different combinations in order to invent every time original landscapes. In order to send it easily to customers all over the world, the filling of the sofa should be put only when the kit reaches its destination. The instruction manual illustrates how to assemblethe toy and provides suggestions of recycled materials for the filling as well as different ways to give birth to the game. The production partner for Zambesi Sofa is YCTC, a free training school for vulnerable youth in Livingstone, Zambia.
