For the Salone Internazionale del Mobile of 2010, Bokja will be exhibiting
Conversations; a project on the narratives and
experiences that make up a sofa.
The exhibit will present a sofa not as an independent and final object but rather as a collection of stories pieced
together into a vibrant collage of fabrics, creating a conversation.
It is the idea that the object is the moment by which these conversations between time and place emerge. It is also the
acknowledgment that these narratives and stories do not cease to exist with the object, but rather go on and live
beyond it.
