From the 14th till the 19th of April 2010 the Officina 1 location at via Tortona 31 will be the epicenter of the senz° test facility. It will allow Salone del Mobile visitors to get a real taste of the true senz° experience within the Zona Tortona district.
The senz° story
It all begins with 3 friends that meet at the University of Technology in Delft, the Netherlands.

Why does a traditional umbrella in most cases fail to keep you dry in bad weather? Why do moderate rainfall and wind always lead to streets that are full of broken umbrellas? Why, after more than 3000 years of umbrella history, has no one ever questioned the traditional design of the umbrella and come up with a sustainable solution?

Designing the ultimate umbrella became their mission. One that doesn’t go inside out, is comfortable to use and doesn’t break with just a tiny bit of wind. Let’s not make the weather stop us from going where we want to go. Being out in the rain should be fun! Let's rearrange the sky for good and enjoy the weather!

After 3000 years, time has come to free the world of all well known umbrella struggles and develop the umbrella of the future.
