For the Salone Internazionale del Mobile, from 14 to 19 April 2010, the Marina Rinaldi flagship store dresses the windows of Corso Vittorio Emanuele with (s)tesa by Claudio Bignazzi.
A new way of furnishing by dressing up in light, with a few, essential gestures: an antique, feminine gesture meets a new, technological and masculine light. The meeting of two separate worlds which dress in linen, holding infinity, giving it shape and function.
The new technologies amplify the potential of the lights: the way of using light has changed. Overcoming technological barriers, the passage to the electronics world assures maximum environmental comfort and energy savings. The light illuminates our rooms without altering them: reducing direct and indirect pollution, (s)tesa recalls an antique world of materials and atmospheres, combined with the most contemporary technologies.
And so the new light of (s)tesa becomes wellbeing, dressed in ironed, crushed and washed linen, Marina Rinaldi Soul proposes environmentally sustainable garments in linen and ramie: this natural fibre is included in the short list of organic crops and is this season's key fabric, similar to linen but with the shine of silk, is resistant, antistatic, anallergic and biodegradable.
In this collaboration, for the second year running Marina Rinaldi Soul bears witness to the company’s interest in the research into alternative fabrics and production methods to protect the environment.
