SUSHE.
An idea originated from a great passion. Or rather from three.
SUSHE is art, design and photography that complete and talk to each other, creating a new object.
At the creative banquet we find Paolo Troilo, the concept’s author, Ruggero Rosfer, photographer and Sergio Nava, designer.
Their creation is called SUSHE, a tatami table, symbol of the Japanese culture.On the table we see a sushi girl (a naked woman used for banqueting) laying down, shining on a crystal glass table.
Thanks to an original design solution, the sushi-girl rises, physically and metaphorically, thus becoming a piece of art. In the same moment in which the table passes from its sociable function to art piece, we witness the moral resurrection of the woman as an object.
An artistic gesture to live personally and to be shared with others.
SUSHE, presented by Fabbrica Eos, will be exhibited in a very particular location, right in the heart of Milan, the restaurant ZeroDue, during the Salone del Mobile, from April 14th to 19th 2010.
Ivan Totaro, a wine-gastronomical lover and expert, will make his “cooking art” available for everybody: an innovative creative menu, with original interpretations of the sushi theme.
