ROOM2.0 MY SUITE MY WORLD THE FUTURE OF HOSPITALITY WE ALWAYS TRAVEL WITH OUR "LIFE" IN THE POCKET, OUR HANDIES ARE FULL OF IMAGES, MUSIC, VIDEOS, DOCUMENTS.THEY REPRESENT OUR WORLD. Today our agency is working on the “personalization” of your room: we are not speaking of hardware, we are speaking of software. A simple application connects us to our room. We can easily choose the best programmes on our TV, which music we want to listen to, the parfumes we want to smell, the controlling of the lights. That’s what we intend by “room 2.0”. The Salone del Mobile 2010 in Milan is the beginning of a new adventure. We have developed our project “mysuite myworld” at the hotel Watt 13 in Milan, in collaboration with the hotel, Maffialife and the support of Suite. A room located at the center of the lobby, wooden walls letting us catch a glimpse of the protected interior and a wall showing videos : they all represent the way of communication between customer and architecture.
Through a simple Wi-fi connection we can have the photos of our children on the monitors of our room, we can change colours to the led, control heat and cool, select TV channels and, why not, check out.
This is the beginning point for swapping, sharing and personalizing: room 2.0.
