NONOGIORNO: Made for Pioneers
The perfect union of nature and design, transparency and colour: that’s the mood of the new collection presented by Nonogiorno for the Fuori Salone 2010 at the Autorimessa in Via Tortona 20.
The event is part of the main project Impact Innovation by TortonaCube, that will present a selection of design companies who create in an eco-friendly way by using technologies and design to improve men’s life.
Nonogiorno is a new brand in the Italian design scene, that creates one-off design pieces in methacrylate and stainless steel. All pieces are bent by hand and characterized by unusual finishes and thickness.
It’s the total transparency of Plexiglas playing with its bi- and tri-coloured declensions, where the effect of coloured layers gives depth and originality to each piece.
It’s a tactile experience, where to rediscover the joy of touching these furniture pieces with their important thickness – from 12 to 20 mm – and their impossible curves, obtained by the skilled hands of the most expert Italian artisans.
The collection of Nonogiorno is a synergy between design and nature: furniture intended for the bedroom and the living room combined with new ways of placing the green nature in your home. Tables and shelves become plant racks and invite the user to interact with nature by creating his own green corner at home, where natural and artificial elements combine in perfect harmony to create an effect of great visual impact.
The collection is intended to appeal a customer base sensitive to a changing world, who wants to approach the green nature as personal enrichment, indispensable home decoration, entertainment and source of new energy.
Design becomes in this way wellness objects for mind and home.
Nonogiorno originates from the different experiences of three brothers, all under 35 years old, and was developed since the beginning as an eco-friendly project, where the high stylish impact combine with the low environmental impact. That’s why Nonogiorno selects only the best local suppliers and uses only recyclable materials either for the product (Plexiglas and steel) or for the packaging and catalogues (made of 100% recyclable paper).
