SOS Design: Il bosco pro.positivo (The pro.positive wood)
Triennale Bovisa
Opening: April 13th, h 7.00 pm
Exhibition: April 14th - 19th, h 11.00 am - 10.00 pm

IED Comunicazione is partner of the seventh edition of Sos Design: I AM DESIGN POSITIVE, created by Biba Acquati and Massimo Randone. Sos Design is a charitable exhibition/market of objects and pieces of furniture donated by the most prestigious companies working in the design field. The 2010 edition, organized by Rebelot Events&Communication in collaboration with Zetalab and Triennale Bovisa, collects funds for the Infectious Disease department of the Sacco Hospital in Milano, pioneer in the research and treatment of the sexually transmitted diseases.

The event takes place at Triennale Bovisa from April 13th to 19th, during the Salone del Mobile in Milan. For the occasion, IED Comunicazione created, designed and realized "Il bosco pro.positivo", a project describing the path - from the discovery of the disease (of the seropositivity), through the counselling and the knowledge of the treatment - that leads the patient to the recovery of his/her life. The scene design is an immersive micro-installation re-creating the three stages of the psychological path: the narrow door representing the discovery of the disease; the wood representing the words and the awareness; the garden representing the patient’s life. The project, assigned to the creative direction of the copywriter Cinzia Piloni, was realized by 6 students attending the course Advertising: Copywriting.

Part of the initiative, “Is the Design Positive?” is the round table organized at IED Seat in Milan on April 15th at 2.15 pm. Free entrance.
